Facebook marketplace sucks

I hope you offered him treats for life for suggesting banning Rusty.
No... we don’t like banning people around here. If we did, you wouldn’t be here anymore.

If that's really how forum staff feels, then maybe I should leave on my own.
Wow... for someone who’s cheeky and snarky, you can’t take a joke.

Petroleumjunkie412 is busier than a one armed paper hanger at the moment. I do need to do a wellness check on him and see how he’s doing.

The manual transmission will be the deal killer $ for your vehicle, just not that many people know how to drive them. I bought my current B2, traded two Mosin 31/90s for it about 6 years ago, off CL.

> Facebook everything sucks.

As for Facebook, "Zuckerberg" who renounced his USA citizenship to save on taxes, is just a family actor " named Jacob Michael Greenberg, grandson of David Rockefeller. " aka "Jacob Greaves, a reporter for that fake news channel, Russia Today (RT)"

I quit FB a while ago and now you would have to pay me $1000 an hour (or probably 4 gallons of gas in 2023?) to voluntarily use it, even then I might turn it down.

The only caveat I would have about any local listing such as CL, is having people dropping by to scope it out to steal it or parts. I think it would do much better on Evil-Bay.

I put in the manual because I love driving them but your right, a lot of people “could drive manual” but just managed to burn clutch around the neighborhood. I figured at this rate ide need a new clutch before I sold the truck.

Mine has about 88,000 on it from the factory. I’m thinking next year it might be about time to swap it out. It isn’t slipping but it’s starting to complain a bit if the clutch is let to slip too long. Like on a steep hill or in a parade where it’s moving to slow and most of it is on a slight up hill grade.

I’ve done a few clutch jobs on rangers/biis, it’s not a huge job just time intensive. The trick was lowering the tranny down with a crane through the shifter hole in the floor. Made dropping the tranny so much easier.

my clutch has 160K+, seems ok except if I have a lot of stop & go (like in town esp at a drive through) Drives ok but sometimes have to shut it off to get it in 1st. Might be a throwout or pilot bearing.

I might have to try that. I have a transmission jack bit since the transmission doesn’t seem to have one flat spot on it that is in the right place, the last time I dropped it for the slave cylinder, it was not fun getting it back in.

I've had transmissions do that (transmission and clutch both fine). Shift to neutral, let out the clutch, then depress the clutch and shift into first.

First isn't usually synchro'd, so if it's not spinning at the same speed as the input shaft, it won't go in (or it'll grind). Letting out the clutch in Neutral gets things spinning at the same speed, so it *should* go in like butter.

+1 on the synchros. Also the trans is easy, weighs about 100lbs, the transfer case R&R is more of a PITA if you ask me.

Try dropping it in 2nd before going into first.
