hey all, i searched through 10 pages on this forum and used the search but didnt turn up anything that would help.
i installed the 3" fabtech lift spindles on my 01 edge last month. i read about people having issues with the bumpstops that come in the kit but havent found any fixes for it. i installed them according to the instructions that came in the kit but they suck. i can see the caliper bolt getting destroyed after a while. problem im having is that my abs light will turn on after i make a turn at full lock. im assuming the caliper is hitting the lca and causing the light to turn on? or maybe the brake lines are getting over extended although i moved them down. i grinded off the factory steering stop and also notched the lca like the instructions said to.
i ordered some of these.. http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=9.9103 im gonna fab up something or modify the fabtech bumpstop to accommodate these.
is there a fix for the crappy fabtech bumpstops or is it to just make your own?
