So got my brackets fixed to day and my shocks are bad,VERY BAD.lol
So got on fle bay and seen f250 stuff is cheaper than the sky jacket stuff.
So what years is everyone using? Plan going goin off the factor coil buckets with some brackets to mount them. there is a write up on making these any were?

Anyone? I have a 6" lift will the stock f250 shocks work? Im trying to have everthing here and knock my front end out in a weekend. so if any one has some input I really need it here. Thanks

Probably no one knows exactly. You need to get your compressed and extended measurements at the shock mounts. Then see if those f250 shocks fit the numbers. Here is a pdf of monroe shock numbers, measurements and mounting styles that may help;

Hope this helps,

Richard
PS, I give credit to whomever it was that compiled the info and gave it out on the net. Thanks.

I am running shocks from a 2003 with a 4 inch lift on my 88 front and back. I have not had any issues at all.

Your stock shocks use a stem mount at top, the F-250 shocks ('80-'97 ones anyway) have an eye mount at both ends.

Unless you're using F-250 shock mounts or have modified yours, they won't fit.

Yea I am aware I have to make/buy mounts. being the person I am if I can make it I would like to. Looks like i'm going need to bulid my arms and make up my mind on coils.

Allso for the guy running the ones off a 03 in the front I looked them up and do that have a stud or bolt?

Sorry I also forgot to mention that I am running the factory upper front shock mount off the 2003.
