F150 Forum?

Mind if I ask why? Just wondering what I should be looking out for...

I AM gonna miss my 5spd..... I'm 31 years old, this will be my 5th personal vehicle (not counting my wife's vehicles), and will be the first automatic. She can't (well she can - poorly, but she won't) drive stick, and made it clear this one had to be an auto. At least it's got a manual t-case so there's still a shifter of some sort there

Nothing actually wrong with the Truck, it rides great and stuff, gas mileage is alright for a V8. minus ball joints being bad at 43k miles, great job Ford did there. I just Really, REALLY miss having my 5 speed. And I have no kids so the bench seat was really an unnecessary switch for me.

Well, my search is still going. I thought I had one yesterday, but it was sold before I got there.

I also went and looked at a 97 that was very poorly advertised for all that was wrong with it. The dealer failed to take a picture of the passenger seat which literally has the "Lariat" insignia cut out of the leather, and had worn all the way through the top layer of foam. It had a whole crap ton of rust on the bed, front and tons on the outer and inner door skins. Another problem was a huge ass dent on bed. The salesman says to me "so, do you want to take it for a test drive". I told him "no sir, it's a complete waste of my time".
