Anybody Have ever put an engineV8/trans/tcase from an F-150 into a Ranger. All i have seen into the net is guy taking 2 wheeler donor vehicule, buying adapter and install t-case after.

My rig is a lovely 83 ranger 4x4 with a beautifull 2.3 L engine :P.

It can be done without too many problems. The mount of work will depend on the year of the Ranger and the year of the F-150. The V8 isn't an issue, it has been done time and time again by people on this site and many others. The trans isn't a problem either, it's a little bit tighter fit usually, depending on model. The t-case will be an issue depending on the year of the F-150. The newer, 88 or so and newer F-150s will have a BW 1356, really just a big brother Ranger t-case. You can make it fit if you want to but it will involve frame cutting. A better choice is going back a few years and digging out a NP 205 or 208. They will fit between the frame rails and bolt up to any fullsize 4x4 transmission.
