was curious about some opinions, what size tire could i run with this setup and is it alignable(assume it is based of the tech article)

says f-150 coils gave 3.75" of lift in the front
and the explorer give about 2" and then a ranger lift block for the rest all attainable from the junkyard.

that with a 3"inch body lift and 289 v8(added wieght)

how big of tires could i run, and how would this setup be off-road.

thinking of setting my bronco II up like this tell i get some money back to properly do a SAS and wanted some opinions on this setup. could be done pretty cheap.

mods if you want you can move to suspension section

You could get 33"s, but that's approaching the limits in which it can be aligned.

Why not just go with a 4" lift kit??

we have pick n pulls around here so all that stuff is attainable for under $100(minus tires and alignment) easy, and i will eventually plan on pulling it all out(plan on going fw)(don"t expect a dana 28/7.5 rear to hold up to the 289 but it might)

not to mention my bronco II rear springs are pretty worn, so some 95+ 4-door springs and ranger block(my b2 dosen't have blocks) should fix that, but i was just looking at a cheap lift so i could start enjoying my B2, already had the 3 inch body lift on it, and since i plan on replacing the rear springs anyhow the f150 coils sounded like a good idea especially since i have the added weight of a v8.

Really, you don't want to do more than 2.5" of lift on the front end, as past that point you'll have some serious camber issues. Without drop brackets, you'll end up looking like this with too much lift.

Well I had a chance to more reading on the subject guess the 150 coils offer 2.5 to 3.75 depending on options and etc, so if I can find a 2.5 one or the 150 spacer. Combined with a 91-94 explorer spring would that be to much?or are there zero gains with explorer front springs
