I read the tech article about swapping F-150 coil springs onto a B2 or Ranger. I have some questions.
The reason I want to do this swap is because I will be running a 302 in the truck and there is more weight to be accounted for plus it will be a tough truck and I will be driving and jumping the piss out of it so I would like for it to ride stiffer.
The article said the stock F-150 springs were about 2" taller than the stock Ranger coils so would that mean that a 4" lift F-150 spring would raise a Ranger 6"? Also what years F-150 should I be looking to order these spring for? I have an 84 Ranger 2WD.
Here is the truck with some Fabtech coils I had laying around but once the 302 is in, I think the lift will be much less. I will be extending the beams as well as building in the proper camber and plating them.
