So this is just an idea I wanted to bounce off some of you...
In many states, mostly all gas stations dilute their fuel with 10% Ethanol, this is bad for the engine and fuel economy right?
So I have a two gas stations near me that still offer straight gas at 87 and 92 octane... they're small, independently owned stations so their prices are about 10 cents more than average and the one with 87 octane is 9 miles away... anyway I think it would be kinda pointless (better for the engine but financially not worth the cost) to drive out and fill up only 15 gallons of fuel every week... So I was thinking, would it even out if I added another fuel tank? Say another 15-20 gallons?
If it evens out in price, that's perfect for me because I have twice the length between fill ups and it would overall be better for the life of my truck.
Thoughts?
