I didnt see the need to over complicate something simple. The 2" tubing fits perfect in the old arm and I havnt seen the ears where where arm bolts to the beam break off on a set of stock arms yet. I have seen a number of aftermarket arms break/crack right at the ears. I figure if Ford didnt change their design in over 20 years (except for the stylish hole added in the later ones) that they must be pretty stout.(Just not long enough.lol) The good ole' extended stock arms have proven themselves time and time again.

Not too mention I am pretty sure I could make 5 sets of arms in the time it takes to build a set from scratch.

Until I see or here about one of my sets of arms failing I dont plan on changing anything.

I'll back you up PlumCrazy.

These arms ARE stout. I have no fears of putting them on my truck and wheeling the snot out of them. The welds are very good too.

There are too many people running extended stock arms, and proving them stronger than aftermarket arms again and again, to doubt them.

Mine are probably among the first arms out here to be done exactly this way (other than having round vs sq tube) that have been around for a good length of time, and they've been 100% flawless. Looking at my Cardomain page you'll see that they get used too.

To knock someone's work simply because you don't like the way it "looks" just goes to show what your maturity level really is.
