Are they really needed when lifting a 2wd? Been searching for lift kits and some come without and some come with....
 
It really depends on what you're using the truck for...

Mall crawling? Then No.
 
Light to medium off roading/work around the farm. Nothing to serious....What are they used for anyways?
 
They give your suspension more travel is all.
 
Ok thanks! Not really rock crawling, and don't really need that much travel.
 
they also correct your caster when lifting an i beam truck...this can also be done by radius arm drop brackets, make sure you atleast have these if you are going to lift it. Otherwise it will have very annoying handling characterictics.
 
Do f150 radius arms fit? They look longer than a rangers, but I could be just going insane.
