extended cab door wont open

I have a mazda B4000 2004, and my passenger side little extended cab door wont open? Could it be the door hinge, and any ideas how to get it open without messing up the door itself?

Take the inside door panel off and find out why it wont open. You can open it manually once the panel is off. Ive only been into an f250 but ill bet they are the same. That one the cable came loose from the latch so I just pulled on the cable and got it open. Once its open u can fix whatever is wrong easier. If it is the hinge how long since it was open?? I cant imagine it being frozen so bad it wont open...

I'll bet one of the latch cables either broke or seized and isn't releasing the latch.

Just do like Snake said, get the door panel off and see what is what.

Try this if the cable ends are bad. It is a cheap fix compared to buying new cables or latches. I know it worked on my Ranger and my F-150.
