just wondering if the sport trac axle was the same 8.8 as regular explorers?

The 01-05 Explorer Sport (different from regular Explorer) and Explorer Sport Trac (also different) had the same 8.8 as the 2nd gen Explorers. Explorer Sport was discontinued for 06 and 06+ Sport Tracs have IRS like the 02+ (regular) Explorers.
