I just got a 92 4x4 explorer. Can i crank the torsion bars to get some lift? Also how do you lift the rear up about 2 inches?

You don't have torsion bars, you have the TTB (Twin Traction Beam) . You could run a coil spacer up front for a couple inches of lift. You could also get longer shackles for the rear. Spend some time to look around the forums and definitely check out the Tech Library at the top of the page. This place has more info than you'll probably ever need.

Coil spacers and shackles are the best way to get a couple inches of lift.
