Explorer drive shaft on Ranger

Will it work? Someone gave me an explorer drive shaft with good U joints and I have a 94 ranger with a full size cab. They measured the same if I remember correctly. I just think it would be easier to switch out the drive shafts instead of changing all the U joints. Me being lazy or economical I guess.

I don't see why it wouldn't work, if everything measures up the same.
