I really don't want to go aftermarket on my power locks and windows, I like an OE look and feel. Is there any way to get power locks and power windows setup from an explorer to work on a ranger without major mods excluding (wiring of course). My ranger is a '93 XLT and I rarely ever see rangers with PL and PW at the JY I always see 91-94 explorers sometimes I see 95-98 ones.

any ideas besides aftermarket?

the door panels on Explorers and Ranger (or at least 91-94 Explorers and any Ranger) are completely different.

The window regulators are different as well. I had my parts Explorer a while ago and I wanted to do this same thing, and I realized it would not work. For the regulators, just go to Napa and look up the regulators for the Explorer vs. the Ranger if you don't believe me.

As for the power locks, I didn't look at that very closely so I'm not sure if it works or not. I wasn't too interested in the power locks, just the power windows. But if any of this works, it would be the locks.
