Explorer A/C in TTB Truck.

I'm following this with interest. You are doing a great job tracking down your options, and figuring out how to pull this off with the neatest installation.

And for what it's worth, back in day doing aftermarket AC, our shop stocked hose by the roll, and a large variety of barbed fittings. We did a lot of "making up a hose to fit", and a lot of aftermarket kits included barbed fittings, too. If a correct NOS OEM hose is not available, I think that making what you need is a good option, if you can get the fittings.

Your learning.

I think if you play with the lines and a bender...you are going to find them much more modifiable then you seem to indicate.

I put the 6.2 in a few 2wd 150 and bronco fs...and with just a screen swap was able to use a 6.5 FEAD and hook the 150 lines to the gm setup.

If you need the crimpinator....call.

Its just hard to spend $100 on lines and then try to see how they bend...

I already have a manifold that came on a compressor here at work we didn't need (and likely never will) and I wonder if it is going to mate with the BII condenser line.

For the other, I need to get an evaporator and see what size fittings it has, what size whatever manifold I end up with has and try to find fittings to fit.

I am referring to the stock lines...for getting around the dizzy ECT.

I think I could tweak it enough to get around the dizzy. The big kickup by the alternator going to the drier is what put the big kabosh on it for me though, I don't really have room to run the hose over the top of the alternator. I could maybe get that reworked and then nothing downstream from that is going to line up... and everything is downstream from that.

@85_Ranger4x4 What fan/clutch/hub is that?

PS...Sorry to dig up these dead threads....but Im finally doing my swap after sitting on parts for years.

Low profile flex a lite flex fan and their hub. No clutch.
