i've been searchin and really haven't found my answer. but anyways i swapped an 8.8 from an 01 explorer into my 03 ranger. i was wondering what you guys have used or done to get the ebrake cables to work together?

I fabbed up a linkage to connect the Ex cables to the stock main cable on my BII by modifying a couple of the old stock cable clips and connecting it up with a piece of allthread (which also gives you the benefit of being able to adjust the tension on it too).

Because the Ex cables are shorter I also had to make a different support bracket for it.

I had to relocate the mounting tab for the explorer cables, but I was able to use the stock cables, and the stock linkage between them... even with 5.5"/63" leafs! Don't remember what year I used... but I remember the parts clerk telling me the 95' is a different length then 96'+.
