Can the Mazda M50D-R1HD handle the Explorer 5.0?

I don't think the M5OD-R1 will bolt up to a 5.0L. A M5OD-R2 from an F150 will.

my question is, can you run the explorer PCM with a manual trans?

Only if you have the automatic function tuned out/turned off, been done quite a few times.

So what happens if you dont tune it out??? Wouldn't it just give you a CEL along with codes??

I dont see why it would cause any driveability problems???
