Just out of curiosity, does the d35 out of an explorer bolt directly into a Ranger 4x4? say one with the d28?

Oh sorry, I forget to mention i have the option of an 84 jeep wagoneer, 4wd with coil sprung front solid axle, and leaf sprung rear, so I would go that route before trying to ttb swap my ranger, solid axle is just better...(however they are jeep parts, Ill probably have to replace them in a week or so)You have to have a D28 from the factory to make it a easy swap. Starting with a 2wd Ranger makes it very complex to get a TTB axle under your truck.
