Seller wants an answer. Hes asking $150 for an 8.8 with 3.73 and brakes from a 93 explorer. Should I jump on it? It's about an hour drive to pick it up

If it's what you need, I'd say that's fair. Don't forget the explorer axles have the spring mount on the bottom of the axle.

Little steep for a drum braked 8.8 IMO....I gave $50 for the one I put in my 94 first, then gave $100 for a 95 disc braked one a year later.
92-94 Expos are gonna be drum, 95 up are discs, if you didn't already know that.
