Hey guys whats goin on? look i have a 92 ranger 4x4 standard cab! the carpet was rotted in it so i tossed it and im looking for a unique upgrade! i have some wires and cables lying on the floorboard so i would like to cover those up if possible and spend as little as possible!!! also i want to upgrade the dash got any hints or tips on add ons like face guages and where to find any!!! thanks for all the help

Gauge Faces can be found on e-bay. I have seen some templates before that someone can mod in Photoshop, print them and have a one-off custom cluster. As for the floor - your imagination is the limit - I have seen guys use roll-on or spray-in bed liners on the floor or the plain rubber door to door mats. All depends how much work you want to put into it and money - as you said you would like to keep it simple and cost effective.

Good Luck

They offer rubber and poly vinyl flooring for S/C's at LMC truck

I've got all my wires running up the A-pillar and over the door. This may be harder to accomplish if you have a push button t-case.

I didn't have to lengthen any wires to do this.

I've got the roll on bed liner on my interior floor also.

My truck has rubber flooring from the factory, can't beat it IMO.

Mine shrunk, rotted, and developed holes.......

Mine has one hole right under where the heel of your foot goes when you run the gas... evidently whoever had it before me didn't believe in floormats.

Yeah, that's where the the bigget hole developed on mine.

I have been looking to do this but cant get a hold of a 2nd generation gauge template. If anyone has this and can send it to me then that would be great.

I have not seen any templates or scans in a while. Someone at RPS had them, but they are not there anymore or the templates are gone.
You could always get a cluster from the JY or just the faces and scan them.

what is the JY? i was going to take my face off but i have to drive my truck every day so that would make it hard.

Get some heavy bond paper like card stock and some crayons or sharpies and draw a temporary one while you scan and design your new ones . . . :icon_rofl:

I am kidding, but that would be funny . . . :icon_thumby:

when my carpet goes bad i think i want to put in diamond plateing i think that would look pretty cool
