Flowmasters have a good sound with the 3.0. a lot of guys run 2.5 inch all the way out.

ive got a 4.0 and i just put had a turbo muffler put on...has a deep sound but great overll

if you look around on youtube you can some good ideas on what some set ups might sound like

Magnaflow on my 3.0 sounds good... very smooth, but not as deep or loud as the flowmasters. JBA also has a nice sound
