I need some suggestions for my 1992 Ford Ranger XLT 3.0, what should i get a whole new exhaust system, cat back, just the muffler, idk, what brands are good, what does everyone else have?

thrush glasspack......or you could be like EVERYONE ELSE and Get a flowmaster

I personally have a glasspack on my truck (3.0L) and i love it!!!! nice low end and idle sound...but does tend to get ricey sounding after 3 and a half rpm's

Best 25 dollars i EVER spent!!!!!

I was running a glass-pack, but i had a flat spot around 3500 RPM, till i swapped it out for a thrush chambered muffler. mc_muench if your exhaust is in good shape and you just want more noise, just look for a replacement muffler, otherwise cost will be your biggest factor in what you do. And one last thing with your 3.0 an exhaust any bigger then 2.25 is a waist, and can hurt performance.

Run y-pipe cat back. No muffler. I had single side no muffler on my '92 3.0 and I was drowning out fullsize trucks.
