Hey guys i am new to the ranger station i have a 1991 ford ranger with a 4.0 and i am doing new exhaust on my truck and was wondering a buddy of mine gave me Y pipe off a 2.9 and he said the only difference is where the cat mounts to the Y pipe is he right? and im doing away with my cats so if anyone has the flange piece off a 2.9 let me know i am looking for one and if you guys have any suggestions also let me know thanks

oooh... bad move on the removing the cat...it is illegal (federal) immoral (your killing the planet) and probably fattening (I am sure it is in some way...) and will probably reduce your engines power and make it run worse than what it did with the cat (several people will attest to this first hand here)...

might work, Not sure tho. you might post your question in the exhaust forum. be sure to pay attention to the sticky on removing cats :)
