well last night i was re doin my whole exhaust system, new y pipe, magnaflow hi flow cat, an magnaflow muffler.

i want to have it exit before the back wheel, an i had it all set up an clamped ( welding everything after) but with my body lift an to make the tip look right coming out the side i have to angle the tip up. which then leave the 45 bend being the lowest point an the water will collect there?. what are everyones opinions on what i should do?

leave the tip angled. or have an exhaust shop run a pipe out the back of the truck?

if you're going to be underwater at all, i would say get a new pipe ran...

then again your pipes will probably be pretty hot... so i'm not really sure!
good luck though, looks like you went with some high quality stuff... hope you like the results

see this is my pure trail truck but its gotta street legal. i thought about running it over top of the frame but i think that will be to much work so im goin to look at some other options, an see everyones opinions before i do anything.

IF you go into the water at all. just make sure not to kill the engine. as long as the engine is running, you can bury the truck up to the manifold with no problems. the exhaust gas will push the water out the pipe no problem.

you should be ok.

ok thanks. ya thats what i figured an i now know not to shut the truck off in water over the tail pipe lol.

well i went ahead an put the tip on angled up before the back wheel. an im glad i did it looks awesome an this whole magnaflow set up sounds wicked.

cool, post a vid if you can, if its the 4.0 i wanna hear it so i can decide if its what i want on mine. thanks

If you're worried about water pooling inside the pipe, just drill
a 1/4 inch hole at the lowest point; the water will drain right out.
It'll also keep the pipe from rusting out.

I did this on my Bronco, works like a charm.....

see i was goin to do that but then it will have a leak an might sound like crap with a leak right there, but ill most likely just leave it an if it rots out in a year or two i dont care i prob will have a different set up by then who knows lol.

an blackwidow ya i got the 4.0 in it so when i get my camera back ill post a video of it.

it does sound sweet, an pretty nice at idle but loud an mean when you rev it up.
