Okay im planning on redoing my exhaust on my ranger and i was wanting opinions on what to put on it...Im looking for a deep rumble sound out of a 4.0 v6 and not wanting any crackleing any ideas?

Flow 40 with 2.5 piping straight out the back, or cherry bomb extreme muffler

The Gibson I have rumbles nice and makes it sound good for a V6.

yea i was heavily leaning towards the flow 40 but instead of going out the back im bringing it in front of the tire i think

I have 2.5" pipe throughout and a flowmaster super 40, sounds mean.

I have 2.25" pipe on mine with a Flowmaster 40 series single in dual out with 2.25" turn downs on my 4.0, and it has a nice rumble to it.

mines 2.5" after the cat to a thrush welded turned out before the rear tire. i love the way it sounds.

mine is 2.5 all the way threw a flowmaster cat, into a magnaflow muffler then dumped out before the back tire with a 5" tip. sounds BAD A$$$$. everywhere i wheel when i put her to the matts in the mud everybody says wow that is a bad a$$$ sounding 4 L

I have a thrush welded mated to stock piping right where the factory muffler was and turned down right before before rear axle. couldnt get any bigger exhaust to clear the subframe without a bender, sounds great nice quiet deep rumble, would sound better with bigger piping.

the thrush welded is nice for the price almost sounds like a flow40.but if u wanna be really loud i would go with a cherrybomb extream 1in/2out

thrush fully welded 2.5 ran all the way back wit tips. cant get any better and for the price

thrush fully welded 2.5 ran all the way back with tips and cut off the cats. cant get any better and for the price. plus u can sell the cats for round 25 dollars :icon_thumby:

I'm really happy with my Gibson. Sounds good. The fit was really good too. I removed the stocker and installed the Gibson on my 1/2 hour lunch break with no issues whatsoever.
