So during the wheeling event I managed to bust my exhaust manifold are these hard to change? Also are there any companies that make a set of Hooders(headers that g0 straight up through the hood)for the 2.9 V6? I know it would sound dumb as hell but it wouldnt break again when Im stuck and hve to get yanked out.

i dont think anybody makes em. jegs has ones you could weld yourself. manifolds+fords=hell you will need and oxygen acetelyn torch to get em off. and plan on breaking a couple of the bolts in the head. thats where the torch comes in. with it on low heat, and the tip angled slightly, you can melts the threas out without disturbing the head. then run a tap through em and get new bolts. for the down pipes. just torch the bolts off and get new ones. and i STRONGLY invest getting copper seal gaskets. these can be a pain in the = you know what, to do. have fun.

i just took mine off to swap on my new 2.9L and every single bolt broke i couldnt get one off without braking it

i swapped mine on my 4.0 6 times (dont ask) in the last 2 months. never had a problem besides with the gasket those were a pain in the arse to get on without disconecting the exhaust. only 6 bolts though
