Truck sounds rough, best way to tell if it has an exhaust leak is to take it into a shop?

get outside the truck and start lookin around while its running. what area does it sound like its coming from?

Leave it runnin and climb under. Trace the pipes back from the heads, and feel for puffs of air. You might hear a fapping kind of sound depending on the leak, but if there is one, you'll hear it.

Check any joints that are clamped, check any flange doughnuts, look for rusted through spots.

If they're pinholes, spray some soapy water on the pipes in question while the truck is cool. Get em good and coated. Then have a bud fire it up while you're under and look for bubbling.
