Exhaust ground strap bad?

I noticed the ground strap from the pass side exhaust is all green and is falling apart. Is this to give the O2 sensor a good ground? What can I replace it with? I've used the universal flexible ground straps before,would one of those work? Thanks.

yeah that should work....just as long as it doesn't have insulation coating on it.
