I just wanted to introduce myself and say thanks for your excellent site. Sadly I have been away from Fords since my 69 Mach1. I just purchased this 94 Ranger 4X4 with 168000 miles.
I want to say thank you to all of the people who have helped making this site what it is. There are many great articles and the input from the subscribers each have great explanations and solutions. It is the people who contribute that make this such a wonderful teaching tool.
As soon as I got the Ranger I wanted to fix the fan only operating on high problem. Within a matter of minutes I was on my way to the parts store to purchase the bad resistor. Thanks, go to Jim Oaks great article on Diagnosing Blower Motor Problems.
Thanks also goes out to all contributors that had the nerve to address their issue on a public forum and to all of seasoned pros and backyard tinkerers that have and still help from the screen side. I know it is hard to diagnose an issue without seeing the unit but these techs are supper.
