I have seen a few post through my searching on here about some people interested in puting exaust stacks on there trucks. So I thought I would post a few pics of my setup. I know alot of you guys don't like the look of them, but theres alot of us who do. So if you don't like it don't look. Now I used a cherry bomb muffler under the truck and then I worked with cutting some pipe to the correct angles to get the stack so it comes through the bed in the passanger side corner. Not in the center of the bed like i have seen a few others do. I then used an adapter from advance to switch from the stock pipe diameter to 3" pipe, which is what the stack is made from. Instead of a straight stack i cut it at a 45 angle and the cut another piece about 4" long with 45 angle cuts at both ends. I thought this would look alittle better.

Looks good. In my opinion I think it might look better if it had two stacks instead of one. But you know what they say about opinions LOL.

A nice chrome curve isn't too expensive, and is hard to beat for looks. Dad just put one on his hay-mover. I think it was under $150, and we had to cut it to a reasonable height.

I didn't go with two stacks cuz its a 2.3L. I think Two 3" stacks would have been over kill. $150 is more than I would want to spend for a stack to go on my truck. The stack that I made didn't cost me anything, it was made from stuff just laying around my garage.

I always look to see if it's a paid member before I comment.
