Wow, kind of reminds me of the video on youtube where the guy drives the bobcat up onto a truck like that. This one takes the cake though. Pretty sweet.

Someone give that man a beer! That's definitely something you don't see every day. I'm wondering if it was any harder getting the thing down?

That is neat but... did they move the train with it up there? From the angle I think you should be able to see the crossing in the last picture??

i would have shit my pants lmfao

Now that I think about it, did they also turn the backhoe around? Or did they attach another car to the end where it climbed up? The way it was facing when it got up there isn't the same that it's facing in the final picture.

Pretty slick.

If you'll take notice, the backhoe was specially outfitted to be able to do that. There's a bracket on the front bucket, one behind the front wheels, and the outriggers in the rear are outfitted too for keeping the machine from falling down inside the hopper cars.

That is freakin awesome, no way would I or even be able to do that. I wonder how often they actually do that, either way it works.

the backhoe did not turn around and thy did not move the train. look at the color of the of the car that bh boarded first. notice the limbs of the trees. think in the space the back hoe has to operate. it would have to of moved down the car and onto the next one. look closely, there are three pivot points. the front bucket, the rear bucket and just behind the front axle. this guy could have "walked" the entire train emptying cars.

with the analysis behind.... put me behind the wheel, I WANNA do that!!!!!!!!

that takes balls to do though
that looked sketchy to me
