ever buy tools that you will probably never need?

Installing a new HD Drag Link on my Jeep Wrangler I ran into a couple tools I don't have but needed:

Fork style Pittman Arm or Ball Joint Remover (purchased)
Crows Foot 21mm

Could have prevented that by not buying a Jeep.

I love tools like that... hammer... adjustable wrench and a ratchet? Pricless!

Where did that come from... that could find a permanent home in the Bronco bag.

@Roert42 called it right... I got it at Tractor Supply. I keep it my tool kit on my SxS.

Full set of Lenox bi-metal hole saws. May never use them but by gawd I won't be short of what I need.

I bought a entire crows foot line wrench set just to do a intake on a S-blazer (fuel line connections back by the firewall)

I’ve probably got a 10mm I could donate, you’ll need to find it in the shop though..good luck

I see they have them on Amazon too... not sure it's the same brand. $26 and a $3 coupon. After reading the reviews I passed on it.

You needed to see reviews to come to that conclusion?!?

Actually... I still think it would be a pretty cool tool in the truck box. It probably wouldn't be what I grabbed if I needed a wrench... a hammer or even a 3/8 ratchet. But when you need to make an emergency repair... I would take it.

There is a saying in the prepper world... two is one and one is none. It would be a pretty cool tool for a back up to three different tools. If it was cheaper I might have bought it. But I'm pinching pennies for Bronco parts.

Any specialty tool I buy almost guarantees the fact I will never do that job ever again.

As far as tools I've impulse bought that have proven to be handy, extendable indexing pry bar from harbor freight is the new favorite tool
