Hi, Can't seem to find the answer for the code (large emissions leak) but i've replaced:
1) rear EVAP vent solenoid 2) front Purge Control Valve 3) new gas cap (had the CEL for the gas cap ON which now cleared) and fully checked the EVAP cannister - no leaks, great shape etc. No visible signs of any leaks, hoses good etc.

I'm beginning to think it could be the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (FTPS). I understand how to test it but for an '06 3.0L is this mounted on the tank?
Whats involved with dropping the tank?

Thanks for any help as I have 3 vehicles down at the moment :shok: my all time record!

Did you clear the codes after you changed the parts? They sometimes will not go away unless you clear them with a scanner.

Yes I did reset the codes several times. Things are a lot easier with a diesel - except that one is also bad order (gave up- in the shop on day 3 now), but at least no EVAP to worry about......
