I wish we could get the double cab Ranger over here. I think Ford would make a killing on it. Take a look a Fords European website. Very cool cars that would sell well here I am sure.

On to my point. I was wondering if a person had enough money, could they get a euro Ranger over here? Input?

i want one of their 4.0 deisels to put in a gen 1 ranger. then im going to truck it out with tons of custom stuff ill fab up.

yes, just got to get ford to sign off that it meets all safety and emision standards for the US and for that year with the vin # in the letter of the ranger you are try to bring over, then you gotta find a broker to bring it over for you

Yes the oversea's Rangers are very cool. Some times I just can't help myself from drooling. But if Ford did bring it over to the US, I still have a peferctly good 96' Ranger to drive. And I really don't want to get rid of it.

When the time comes, the Ranger is on top of my list. Along with the Subura Baja or Forster.

probably could buy a f-250 by the time its all over. sad b/c a double cab would be awesome.

Well we already have the Explorer Sport Tracs. It would be cool if they made those with a diesel. Do the double cab rangers have a bigger box? Do they also have Sport Tracs in Europe?

You could always import a Mexican Ranger, I think those are basically the same thing. They have a 2.5 Diesel I think and a quad cab.

They are pretty sweet, especially the ones that come with arb wraparound bumpers, and warn winches. I've considered acquiring one and sticking it in a shipping container and mailing it home, not too sure customs would be happy with it though.....

Depending on the vehicle, some are cheaper to buy over here. You dont have to pay taxes, and you should get all the regular incentives. There really aren't any shipping costs because it gets shipped to a dealer near you. I know a couple guys who bought harleys over here, and paid a couple thousand less than what it would have cost if purchased in the states.
