Escorts 2nd SAS

btw am easy/quick way to check radiator's if you dont allready do this is to cut a bicycle innertube in half and hose clamp it to both sides of the radiator then just use the valve stem to air it up. spray it down with soapy water no bubbles no problem

That's how I've done it in the past ,but use a kiddie pool instead.

I am going to make the trip up to Bundy Hill on Sept 3rd so I need to get everthing done....

Should I put the mini spool in for the trip to bundy hill? Just worried about highway use with it in.

Is there a break in period for mini spools ?

I wouldn't think so. It's just a big chunk of steel that replaces the spider and side gears. Kinda like a lunchbox locker.....but it doesn't unlock.

Be cautious when turning on wet or debris covered pavement.

Just dropped off the front drive shaft. Getting it lengthened by 3". Costing me $90

Might be over there myself. Truck is at my buddy's place less then 10 minutes from Bundy Hill. Only been out once this year....

Just put in the mini spool. Might as well. What's the worst that happens? You break something?? Oh well. It'd be time for tons or 31 spline 8.8 then.

31 splines would be more economical. But 1 ton might be an option in the future.

you went out and bought it for wheeling... just put it in b4 you go wheeling haha theres no gear setup involved that i know of dunno how there would be just make sure you pay attention if theres shims in there

Alright. I will put it in there tomorrow if I get time. I will try to save as much of the oil since it has only a few hundred miles on it.
