Escorts 2nd SAS

I have a Sterling 10.25 with no RP laying here. I am trying really hard to not let this D60/10.25 end up under the Ranger

It is kind of pointless, but the kit makes that axle stupid strong and the axle shafts that come with it already have the 5x5.5 bolt pattern drilled in it. :icon_thumby:

I did not know they were dual pattern. Not a bad upgrade I suppose. But for that price I will stick with c-clips.lol

Yea really for 650$ toss a 9" in... or build one to set to the side and await while u find a 44

oh shit. I forgot you're setup has unit bearings. At 80ish bucks a piece, that somewhat changes things...

How often do you destroy UBs? If it's once in every couple years, look for a lifetime warranty setup next time and keep rocking.

If you're blowing them up every couple of months, then check to see how much an aftermarket setup would be. If the cost of building up that 30 is more than what you can buy a 44 that will BOLT IN to your setup, I would then start looking at that. So pretty much, you will need to be able to get a TJ rubicon 44 front, or a highly modified 44, or completely change everything you have now.

I did buy a Timken brand from advanced a few months ago with the lifetime warranty so that is covered forever..lol.

If money was plentiful, I would just order a rockjok 60 for a TJ and call it a day.

Thats the boring way :icon_thumby:

Yup. Order Ruffstuff housings, Spidertrack brakes/ unit bearing kits, run 40 spline shafts, and call it a day. 3 link the front, 4 link the rear with 16" ORI's @ all four corners :D

....A man can dream, can't he?

:icon_rofl: I just love spending other poeples money....

I have to live out dreams thru other people's bank accounts to... it's easy really. :icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

that would make the most awesome Ranger ever.... :icon_thumby::icon_welder:

I forgot about the rear driveshaft, it needs a new tube and balanced. Been running my backup aluminum one since last time at Bundy Hill.

Build it out of some serious toobage. The ones in ex are 3" 1/4"wall Dom. I have never seen driveshafts take a beating like these do
