on my 97 3.0 , i hate to start a fix it thread, but i cant seem to figure out why my idle boosts up to 1800 rpms when the a/c or any climate function is on. its so bad that its like a toyota and wants to floor itself while i am trying to shift, so frustrating. i replaced the iac valve and it did not help. guess i just wasted 60 bucks but i couldnt find troubleshooting procedures, nor does a cel ever come on. the a/c works real cold.
