erattic rpms need help please

heres my problem i have a94 ranger with 4.0 my rpms are erratic they jump up and down and trips the check engine light then the truck looses power like falls on its face if the rpms are were they belong it runs great or if they are at 0 rpms it run ok but if they are bouncinging around its bad also when this happens the exhaust sounds like its not exhausting. have replaced motor due to head problems thought this would also take care of this but it didnt have also relaced maf sensor,throttle positioning sensor and 02 sensor and plugs also gas filter and checked fuel psi ok took to two ford dealership to have dio ran they said cpu wont comicate with theres wtf. please help me im bout to buy a import

if the cel is coming on check the codes and post them , someone should be able to help you out.

not sure how to get codes is there a way with out buying a tester

i pulled the codes on my 94 with a 4.0 and 5 speed this is what i got
522 park neutral position circuit fault
and a226 ignition diagnostic signal fault ignition system
can any of you ford lords tell what i need to look at to get the ol girl running good again
