im regearing and installing a ford traction lock this week.

has anyone had experience with this l/s friction modifier? this is all they had at the local napa and i figured it would work fine for the 500 mile break in. just making sure its a decent product before using it. it states that it meets ford #m2c118-a.

thanks

Should be fine. You can also get gear lube, such as Penzoil 80w90 that already has the friction modifier already in it as well.

thanks,

im just going with whatever fluid the shop fills it with. ill do a synthetic lube after the break in. ive heard on a couple of threads on another ranger forum that the l/s additive that is included in some of the gear lube's isnt as good as using the seperate additive.
