I have a 1988 ford bronco 2 with a 2.9 V6 i just put new world heads and all new valve train in it because i has that tick. I checked the oil pressure it has 20psi at idle and 50psi at 2000 rpm. Is there any way to get rid of the tick or do i need a different motor. Is that tick something all the 2.9's do or what. any info would be greatly appreciated

MANY here will tell you that the 2.9 will typically have tick from the valve rockers. not all though.

If coming off a fresh OH run for a few miles and recheck.

Oil pressure sounds good
