engine swap

did engine swap from a 96 explorer 4.0 into a 93 ranger 4.0 started before i had everything finished vacuum lines exaust,etc. now it wont crank over and everything else is normal

I believe, 96 has a CPS, 93 doesn't

did you use the old wiring harness on to newer engine right? this is what I plan to do with the 98 engine I have to go into my 94 but I'm an expert but I've just been doing my homework

Does it crank but not start, or does it not crank at all.
