I did a 4.0 swap in my 83 ranger. I used the toyo koygo 4 speed from the 83. i used the 4.0 flywheel and clutch. Fired the motor and now the clutch doesn't work. Acts like there isn't enough throw on the throw out bearing. Didn't think there would be a difference in being internal or external slaves until it wouldn't work. The hydraulics don't have any air in the system. Wondering if anyone has any information on throws on the toyo koygo and the M5OD. Or if anyone has any suggestions other than finding a M5OD. Which is in the process.

how far does the release arm move?

Is the fork solidly seated on the pivot pin? I know they're held on with just a tiny clip spring... I'm thinking that it might've shifted off during the first push of the clutch pedal.

Not sure how far it actually moves. The clutch fork was attached when i stabbed the motor.
