i have a 93 ranger with a 4.0 and i swapped this motor with a 94 4.0 out of a explorer. my problem is i have no spark. the 94 motor look like it has some kind of cam sensor or some kind of sensor where a distributor might be on a chevy.( in the back of the motor) the 93 ranger ,motor just has this plugged..no sensor. i used the stock harness off the 93 ranger. and everything is plugged in. still no spark and no fuel pressure. any ideas? checked the relays and fuses....all good there.

That is a cam sensor, and from what I understand it tells the computer when inject the fuel on the correct cyl.
