Engine stalls after releasing the brakes

After I start my 94 ford ranger 4 cyl and release the brake pedal the engine stalls. I have replaced the brake switch and connector and no luck. If I cut the lt grn/red wire and connect them together it runs fine, but it is just telling the computer that the brake is pressed.

Also, the voltage gauge does nothing, CEL, Brake, and battery light do not illuminate when the key is in the start position.

Any major work done recently? Did you just buy it?

Sounds like a bad ground somewhere. On the older trucks they were grounded to the firewall, not sure on a 94
