what are the engine specs for the 99 2.5? i would like to know the hp and tq it produces, maybe the max speed it can develop with the 5spd manual and of course the rev limiter, at how much does it activates, cuz the tach scale comes up to 6krpm and there is no red line marked, so i dont know for sure if it goes on since the 6k rpm or higher

i think fuel cutoff occures at 5,500, but could be wrong.

Horsepower = 119 @5000 rpm
Torque = 146@3000 rpm
Compression ratio =9.4:1
Most Ford limiters were 5250rpm

Stats taken from "Blue Oval News" published in 1999. BON published stats for most engines used in Ford cars and trucks for that year.
