So I'm having an issue I can't figure out. So my radiator cracked and I changed it. After changing it my coolant temp gauge only moves when I turn the car off. Also every once and awhile white smoke comes from the engine area between filler cap and distributor cap. Car is not overheating. Any idea what's going on?

Have you tried engine nicotine patch?

4.0 doesn't have a distributor cap, so we need a better idea of where your smoke it actually coming from.

Sometimes there is barely any sometimes you can see it come out the front end

Well, what kind of fluid is laying down between the valve cover and intake?

Also no blow by air coming out of oil filler cap. A little smoke when I take off cap

Not really sure. There is some oily gunk

Oily gunk makes smoke when it gets up around 150 degrees or so. Your engine runs close to between 190 and 210.
