Ok so I'm pretty sure I hydro locked one of the cylinders/bent a connecting rod in my motor. I would swap in something with a little more guys than the factory 4.0, but I'm a little strapped for cash at the moment, so I'm just gunna see if I can find a used motor that's in good shape and just drop it in. Anyway I have a couple of questions: How long should this take if I do it my self? (I have access to the shop at my high school) And if I'm using a similar year engine will I need anything else other than the motor? Any suggestions and/or advise would be greatly appreciated.

It could be done in as little as 6-8 hours if you have a knowledgeable mechanic helping/assisting. For you, I'd say probably 2-3 days, depending on how many hours you put on it in a day, which will be limited if done at a school shop. Its not very complicated, just take it one step at a time...

Yes, ^^^

You are doing a long block swap for the most part from your description.
You are taking used block and heads intact and putting all the old parts from the bent rod engine on it, you may need to swap oil pans.
If you swap the upper and lower intake then fuel system and sensor wiring will be the same.
'95 will probably have CPS(cam position sensor), swap that to the used engine as well, they changed the type of signal on these, so you want the one that you know works with your computer.

I would spend the $6-$8 on a new rear main seal, and front main if you are feeling rich, :).
Also remove both water pumps and pick the best one, impeller condition.
