Engine mounts

Hey do you guys no if the 2.9 and 4.0 engine mounts are positioned the same in a 1990 ranger? I did a v8 swap on my last 94 renager and still have the templates for the motor mounts, and im hoping i can use them on my 1990/2.9, i just checked and the motor mounts between the 2 are the same part#

Yes, they are the same. I'm using the factory 4.0 motor mounts and explorer plates...

Do you have a part # for the explorer plates?

No, I dont. I had to modify the drivers side mount, but the passenger side was direct boltup. Look at my build thread (1st post) for complete details...

Yeah i actually just took a look at your build thread actually, it looks like just cutting up another set of plates from the templates i have, hopefully i can find where i put the temp plate :/
