No, I didn't lose my engine. It misses at idle and when I raise revs while sitting still. It doesn't seem to when accelerating. 93 3.0, automatic. 121,000miles. I have put in new rotor button, dist. cap, plug wires and platinum plugs with correct gap. It doesn't seem to miss as much with these changes, but it's still there. Any ideas?

You and most everyone else have had this problem. Start by checking for vacuum leaks. Check twice, and then a third time. They can be illusive. If no leaks, see if you you've thrown any codes. Good luck bud.

what BRAND are the plugs?

how old are your fuel and air filters?

is there a lot of play in the dizzy? (remove the cap and try to turn the rotor back and forth by hand)

Plugs are Motorcraft Platinum. It's what the parts store guy said came in the truck. Air filter is new, don't know about fuel filter.
